The Adventures of Robin Hood

Set in the late 12th century during King Richard the Lionheart's absence on the Crusades, Robin Hood, a Saxon nobleman, becomes an outlaw to fight against the tyranny exerted by his brother, Prince John, and the Normans. Gathering a band of followers called the Merry Men, including Little John and Friar Tuck, Robin defies oppressive taxes and defends the poor while also pursuing the affections of Maid Marian. The film culminates in grand duels, an archery contest, and the eventual return of King Richard, who restores justice to the land by defeating Prince John and his accomplices.
